Rick John,Principal Broker/Owner/ABR

• A native of Brattleboro, VT, Rick started out working in his family's business and has continued to start and operate many businesses in the entrepreneurial spirit over the past 40 years. His grandchildren are the 5th generation and they will be the future of this family legacy.
• Rick holds a BS in Business Administration from Bryant University (College) in Rhode Island.
• In 1981, Rick obtained his first real estate license, and he has been a licensed Broker NH since 1985. He founded R. JOHN & CO. real estate in 1986.
• Rick received the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation from the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC)in 2002. He is now a Certified Instructor of the ABR course and the 2nd Home & Resort course from REBAC and NAR.
• In 2004, Rick Founded CornerStone Institute to provide education, training, and consulting in New England for real estate practitioners and for other related industies.
• Rick offers both Commercial and Residential Brokerage in NH, Property Management, Leasing, Consulting, and Buyer Representation in NH. He has served as President of the local board of Realtors and Vice President of Vermont Real Estate Information Network (VREIN), which is one of the MLS organizations in VT.
• In August 2005, Rick was honored with the "REALTOR® of the Year Award" from the Southeastern Vermont Board of REALTORS®. Rick was chosen by a vote of his peers for his dedication to the Real Estate Industry and his leadership by example.  He has held many local and state offices during his years of practice, and he continues to be an advocate for both the industry and its clients & customers.
